Libby & Salvatore’s Evergreen Lake House Wedding
Mountain wedding venues have so much to offer when it comes to picture-perfect backdrops. Add to it the serene atmosphere, and you already have a stunning image right there! So, when Libby and Salvatore got married at the Evergreen Lake House, I was overjoyed to get an opportunity to document my couple’s special moments at this unique venue nestled in the lap of nature. With a tranquil lake inside the property, the location easily qualified as one of the most stunning mountain wedding venues I’ve worked in before. Libby and Salvatore, I can’t thank you enough for giving me the chance to be your wedding photographer and bringing me to such a gorgeous venue.
Evergreen Lake House Wedding Photography
Libby and Salvatore are both teachers and live in Colorado. A lot of Salvatore’s family is from the back east and had traveled to attend the wedding. The wedding was at dusk, and the lighting was gorgeous. Right from my couple’s getting-ready shots to their reception inside the rustic log cabin, there was no dearth of scenes and moments to capture. And be it the solo portraits of my bride and groom or photographing them together at the breathtaking venue, I got some incredible images. Libby and Salvatore were so relaxed. They were all about enjoying their special day. Even the bridal party was a high-spirited group. I got some fun images of them with the couple as well. The sweet and touching ceremony by the gorgeous lake was another opportunity for me to keep my camera ready when everyone in attendance shared many laughs and shed some happy tears.
For the couple portraits, I followed Libby and Salvatore as they walked on the wooden bridge and explored the venue. The newlyweds gave me many romantic poses against the most wonderful backdrops. Even a flock of ducks crossing the lake made an appearance at the wedding! And I jumped at the opportunity of capturing that moment to remind my couple of this picturesque setting even years later.
The reception was a mix of emotional and fun moments, each one special in its own way. The highlights for me were the traditional dances. Right from the romantic vibe that my couple shared to the admiration in the eyes of their parents as they danced with their children, it was genuinely heartwarming to see it all unfold.
