Melissa & Brody’s Wedding in Breckenridge
Exploring new places and photographing my couples in breathtaking locations are things that I love about my job. A gorgeous wedding venue not only provides me with incredible backdrops to frame my images against but also gives my couple and their guests the ideal setting to create a lifetime of memories. Now, imagine my excitement when I got to photograph at not one, not two, but three exquisite mountain venues for a single wedding – all thanks to Melissa and Brody. The two tied the knot in Breckenridge, Colorado – a town nestled at the base of the Rocky Mountains. And the venues were so amazing! As a photographer, not only did I get some stunning images at The Village in Breckenridge Resort, Ten Mile Station, and also the Breckenridge Ski Resort but also enjoyed every moment spent in the company of my lovely couple and their friendly guests.
Breckenridge Ski Resort Wedding Photography
Melissa, the bride, is a nurse practitioner, and Brody, her handsome groom, is a doctor in Colorado. For their wedding, the couple got ready in separate suites at The Village at Breckenridge. Considering the two are pretty private people, they decided to say their vows during their first look. It was such a beautiful moment. The majestic mountains, the Alpine meadows, the coniferous forests, the verdant grasslands, and the vast blue sky – all seemed to stand witness to the beautiful bond my couple shared. Melissa and Brody looked so happy and so much in love. They laughed and smiled and just seemed so perfect together that I couldn’t stop admiring the two as they posed for me amid the imposing landscape.
Now, being private was only one side of Melissa and Brody’s personalities; the two also turned out to be quite adventurous. And therefore, Ten Mile Station and the Breckenridge Ski Resort seemed to fit perfectly as the other two venues for their D-Day. Melissa and Brody love the outdoors and spend a lot of time in the mountains – snowboarding or hiking. Therefore, it felt so natural to see them get married at the Breckenridge Ski Resort. It was such a sweet and elegant wedding amid the expansive mountains. For the wedding, Brody’s twin brother, Logan, was the best man, and Melissa’s older sister, Jessica, was the matron of honor.
Right from the getting ready shots to their reception, my couple and their guests were an absolute delight to photograph. And the picturesque views only added to the beauty of the images. The scenic mountain ranges made for perfect backdrops to pose my bride and groom for some solo portraits and even their romantic couples photos. Even the indoor images turned out to be quite stunning, with all the details, florals, and other arrangements put together so tastefully, keeping in mind the wedding’s rustic charm. It was such a serene and sublime day.
